Richard M. Grant, M.Eng., P.Eng., President and Founder of  Grantec Engineering Consultants Inc., was pleased to present a copy of the newly published Canadian National Standard version of the ISO 19902 "Fixed Steel" Offshore Structures Standard to the Dalhousie Sexton Library (Halifax, Nova Scotia) on May 14, 2009. On hand from the library to accept this standard were Helen Powell (Library Director) and Sarah Jane Dooley (Promotion & Outreach Coordinator).

The Canadian National Standard version of 19902 has been published as CAN/CSA Z19902. This version contains a Deviation regarding welding certification and is available from the Canadian Standards Association (CAN/CSA Z19902 at CSA). CAN/CSA Z19902 replaces the CSA S473 standard for Steel offshore structures.
