Nova Scotia Visits Grantec

On March 30, 2011, Grantec Engineering Consultants Inc. was very honoured to host a visit at Grantec by the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, The Honourable Mayann E. Francis, O.N.S., DHumL. During the facility tour, Richard M. Grant, M..Eng., P.Eng., President of Grantec Engineering, briefed Her Honour on several of Grantec's leading edge projects, including the work performed for the analysis and design of the Sequoia Detector Vessel for the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) Project at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In addition, Rick also briefed Her Honour on the work that has been performed in regard to offshore safety and the critical revisions to the Canadian and International offshore standards in the area of fire and explosion safety.
