analysis of the Sequoia Detector Vessel at Dalhousie University,
Sexton Campus, Halifax, NS on March 13, 2009. The Sequoia Detector Vessel and the associated Sample Vessel, form the primary neutron containment envelope for the Sequoia Fine-Resolution Fermi Chopper Spectrometer at the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Sequoia Detector Vessel is considered to be one of the largest vacuum chambers in North America and is the largest vacuum chamber at any neutron scattering facility in the world. Grantec's work for the Sequoia vessels is featured in the March 2009 edition of the Business Excellence (Boston, MA) magazine and the Spring 2009 edition of The Engineer (published by Engineers Nova Scotia).
